CNR International
Olowi Project Technical Support

Location: Gabon, West Africa

Project description: CNR’s Olowi development will consist of 29 wells. CNR plans to develop the field using three wellhead towers and one conductor-support platform featuring up to 44 well slots, which will then be linked back to a floating production, storage and off-loading (FPSO) vessel, the Knock Allan.

Timing and duration: 2006-2009 3 Years

Completion date: Mid 2009

Our scope: Initially PDi provided CNR with support to define the engineering workscope. PDi then provided engineers working within the overall CNR project team to develop tenders for the detailed design and major procurement packages including a pipeline Direct Electric Heating (DEH) system. Our engineers also provided subsequent construction management to oversee these contracts and provide UK and in country construction site representation.

PDi were also engaged by CNR to carry out a discrete package of work relating to relocation of the FPSO Topside Umbilical Termination Unit (TUTU).
