Project description:The Grove Field is situated in Block 49/10a of the UKCS. Newfield Petroleum UK Limited intend developing the field with the installation of a minimum facilities unmanned platform in water depths of approximately 40 metres.

Grove production fluids will be exported via a new 10" pipeline that crosses the Dutch/UK median line to a new riser platform to be installed by CH4 Energy adjacent to their Markham J6 platform in the Netherlands sector.

The Grove gas and condensate will then be transported from Markham to the Wintershall operated K/13 platform and then through the West gas transport pipeline to Den Helder.

Timing & duration: 12 months

Completion date: March 2007

Our scope:Assistance with project management of the development review and approval of detailed design, optimisation of contract strategy, tender and award of pipeline installation, diving, trenching and rockdumping contracts; monitoring of all components of the project and management of the regulatory process in both the UK and Dutch sectors of the North Sea.
