Project description:North Idku Petroleum Company is acting on behalf of the Group for the North Idku Concession Agreement comprising RWE Dea AG and RWE Dea Idku GmbH (an affiliate of RWE Dea AG) together with 70% and Perenco with 30%.
The North Idku Development Lease Area with its gas and condensate accumulations lies in the Mediterranean Sea approximately 30km East of Alexandria, Egypt, in Abu Qir Bay some 30km offshore and in water depths ranging from 50 to 80 metres.
The North Idku Development Project encompasses the following facilities:
- A 5 slot, NNM wellhead platform (NI-P1)
- A 3 slot, NNM wellhead platform (NI-P2)
- An flow line between the NI-P2 Platform and the NI-P1 Platform
- An export pipeline between the NI-P1 Platform and the onshore WEPCO plant at Meadia
- Additions, modifications and tie-ins to the existing facilities at the WEPCO Plant

Our scope:PDi has been providing technical management support and consultancy to RWE Dea Egypt, scope of work includes: review of conceptual engineering, facilitated contract strategy and risk workshops, development of project schedule, preparation of offshore and onshore geophysical and geotechnical survey Scope of Work and associated tender documents, Survey tender review and evaluation, preparation of FEED Scope of Work and associated tender documents, FEED tender review and evaluation, preparation of Basis of Design, Concept screening studies and cost estimates. PDi continues to support RWE Dea with technical management and direction of the FEED studies.
