Case Study

Concept Development Study

Project description

The concept study required PDi along with process partners to examine the feasibility and cost of developing a field based on several subsea tie-back options. The new field lies approximately 18.5 km from an FPSO which processes production from two surrounding fields.

Our Scope

For a given front end basis of design the scope focused on the cost analysis of the project management, engineering, procurement, fabrication and installation of subsea equipment required for three different development concepts for producing the prospect by way of a tie-back to the FPSO.

Timing and Duration

Commenced January 2013 (Duration 2 months)
