PDi Business Development Manager, Jamie Burrows recently joined a Scottish Development International trade mission to Ghana to learn more about the market and meet local clients.
The trade mission visited Accra and Takoradi with delegates visiting major oil companies including GNPC, Tullow and ENI as well as contractors such as GE, Modec and Technip. Participants also enjoyed a Cocktail reception hosted by John Benjamin the British High Commissioner, where they were able to network with local Ghanaian companies.
Regarding the trip Jamie commented; “The SDI trade mission has provided incredible insight into the local market and upcoming opportunities in Ghana. PDi has been involved in many projects in the West African region. A number of our clients are present in Ghana and we see substantial potential in region in the coming years”.
