Successful completion of Tubarao Martello project support

PDi is pleased to announce the successful completion of the engineering support provided to GE Oil & Gas (Wellstream Subsea Construction) as part of the OGX Tubarao Martello project in the Campos Basin, Brazil. PDi were contracted by GE O&G for the provision of engineering and technical services in support of project execution over a 14 month period.

The Tubarao Martello development consists of 4 subsea production wells tied back to an FPSO in 105m water depth. PDi’s scope involved the installation of 8 mid water arches and associated flexible flowlines, risers and umbilicals.

This was a significant project for PDi consisting of project management and engineering support encompassing many of PDi’s in house technical services including; Project Engineering, Analysis, Structural, Draughting and Welding & Materials. PDi were responsible for the delivery of all installation procedures, installation analyses, seafastening and installation aid design as well as mobilisation and offshore co-ordination and support.

The subsea infrastructure was installed on schedule with the highest possible focus on safety.
