PDi was engaged for a FEED study investigating decommissioning options for the Leadon field and associated pipeline bundles. This lead onto the preparation and submission of the Decommissioning Programme. PDi has and will continue to provide ad hoc support through the execution of the offshore decommissioning.
PDi was engaged by Maersk Oil UK (now Total E&P) to provide support for the decommissioning of the subsea infrastructure at Leadon. The Leadon field consists of a 4km pipeline bundle, two towheads, a midline structure (MLS), riser bases, 4” flexible flowline, numerous tie-in spools, jumpers and xmas trees.
Leadon was the first bundle to be considered for decommissioning, and so significant regulatory and stakeholder involvement was required, culminating in approval of the Decommissioning Programme in 2015.
PDi’s scope included:
Total E&P / Maersk Supply Service
UKCWS
January 2009 (Ongoing)
