Project description

An international oil and gas company, prepared the decommissioning of a major North Sea field using a phased approach.

A subsidiary marine services company was contracted by the operator to support parts of the decommissioning work scope utilising an AHT/CSV vessel. The work scope included the following:

  • Flexible and Umbilical Riser removal
  • Mid water arch wet-store
  • Control jumper and flexible jumper removal from the drill centre
  • Subsea Structure recovery
  • Debris clearance and as left survey for P&A operations
Our Scope

PDi were contracted by the marine services company to provide project management and engineering support for their decommissioning work scope, including provision of offshore construction personnel and deconstruction support.

The work scope included the following support functions:
